  • Potato – 3 (Boiled and Smashed)
  • Sweet Corn – 1 (peeled)
  • Coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
  • Green Chilli – 2 (Finely Chopped)
  • Onion – 2 (Finely Chopped)
  • Rice Flour – 1 cup
  • Gram Flour – 3 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Corn Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tbsp (As per taste)
  • Oil – Required to fry
  • Water – Required Amount


1Take a bowl and add all the flours and mix well.Add potato, sweet corn, coriander leaves, green chillies and onion and mix all well without adding water.


2Check the taste of this mixture. If required, you can add salt and pepper to this masala mixture at this stage. Now slightly sprinkle water on the mixture and make lemon size balls.


3Heat a pan and pour required amount of oil to the pan so that the sweet corn kola urundai can completely immerse in the hot oil. Add the balls to the hot oil and deep fry the balls till 2 to 3 minutes.

4Now serve the hot,tasty and crispy Sweet Corn Kola Urundai with tomato ketchup.
