Crispy Prawn 65

Crispy Prawn 65 is a very good side dish for briyani and fried rice. It is also a very good snacks recipe for kids. Kids will love to eat prawn 65 with tomato ketchup. It’s a quick and easy recipe for bachelors too. Let’s see how to make Crispy Prawn 65 within 10 minutes.


  • Prawn – 1 kg
  • Oil – Required to fry
  • Gram flour – 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Asafoetida powder- 1 pinch
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Fish fry masala – 1/2 tbsp
  • Water – Required Amount


1Clean the prawns properly. Take a bowl of water and add ½ lemon juice and ¼ tbsp of turmeric powder in water and mix well. Wash the cleaned prawns in this water and drain the prawns to remove the smell.


2Take a bowl and add the masala powders and mix well and make as a paste.Now add the washed prawns in the paste and mix well. Marinate the prawns for 30 minutes.


3Heat a pan and pour required amount of oil to the pan. Add the marinated prawns in the hot oil and fry the prawn for around 2 to 3 minutes.


4Serve Crispy prawn 65 with onion, lemon and serve with tomato ketchup for kids.



Asafoetida powder helps to bind the masala with prawns. When we deep fry the prawns the masala will stay coated perfectly.
