Crispy Cauliflower Pakoda

Crispy Cauliflower Pakoda or Crispy Gobi Pakora is a very healthy and tummy filling evening snacks recipe. It is a tasty and easy recipe which can be made in a very short time. Kids will love this recipe when it is served with tomato ketchup. It is also a very good recipe that can be made within a short time for sudden guest at home. Let’s see how to make Crispy Cauliflower Pakoda within 10 minutes.


  • Cauliflower – 1 medium size
  • Gram flour – 1 cup
  • Corn flour – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tbsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Asafoetida powder- 1 pinch
  • Water – Required Amount


1Take a cauliflower and cut into florets. Soak the florets in hot water for about 10 minutes to remove if there is any worm or dirt. Drain the water and take the florets in a bowl.


2Take a bowl, add the masala powders and mix well and make as a paste.Now add the cauliflower florets in the paste and mix well. Marinate for 15 minutes.


3Heat a pan and pour required amount of oil to the pan.Add the cauliflower florets to the hot oil and fry the florets for about 3 to 4 minutes in medium flame.


4Serve crispy and spicy cauliflower pakoda with tomato ketchup or with coconut chutney as per your choice and taste.



Asafoetida powder helps to bind the masala with florets. When we deep fry the florets, the masala will stay coated perfectly.
