Restaurant Style Paneer Mushroom Pulao

Restaurant Style Paneer Mushroom Pulao is a delicious and nutritional rich recipe. Paneer enriched with protein and calcium which helps to strengthen our bones and teeth. Let’s make Restaurant Style Paneer Mushroom Pulao in a very easy way at our home.

Ingredients

  • Oil – 6 tbsp
  • Basmathi rice – 4 cups
  • Coconut milk – 3 cups
  • Water – 3 cups
  • Bay leaf – 2
  • Cinnamon – 2
  • Cardamom – 2
  • Cloves – 4
  • Kapok Buds – 2
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Onion – 5
  • Tomato – 3
  • Mushroom – 400g
  • Paneer – 200g
  • Green chilli – 4
  • Green Peas – 1 cup
  • GG Paste – 2 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Coriander powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala powder – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 tbsp
  • Cashew – Few

Instructions

1Soak basmathi rice in water for 30 minutes and drain the water. For 4 cups of basmathi rice we need to take 6 cups of water. Today we have taken 3 cups of coconut milk and 3 cups of water.

 

2Roast paneer and Cashew in ghee till golden brown and keep it aside.

 

3Take a pressure cooker and pour 6 tbsp of oil in it. Add the whole spices and let them sizzle.

 

4Add green chillies and then onion and saute till golden brown. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute until the raw smell goes off.

 

5Now add tomato and then salt and once it is cooked well, you can add the green peas and mushroom and saute for 1/2 minute carefully.

 

6Add all the masala powders one by one and saute well. Then add 3 cups of coconut milk and 3 cups of water and allow it to boil. Check for taste and add if salt or green chilli needed.

 

7Add the basmathi rice and stir once. Close the pressure cooker with lid and allow 1 whistle. After 1 whistle do not disturb for 15 minutes.

 

8Now open the cooker and add the roasted paneer and cashew and mix well and keep it closed for another 10 minutes. You can also serve it by garnishing the roasted cashew and paneer on top of the pulao.

 

9Serve the hot and spicy Restaurant Style Paneer Mushroom Pulao with onion salad or any gravy.
